About the Crystal Ball
For the past 55 years the women of Suburban Service League host our annual Crystal Ball fundraiser traditionally held on the first Saturday of November at the Olympia Fields Country Club.
Guests support Suburban Service League’s fundraising efforts by bidding on wonderful silent auction items, bidding at the Paddle Raise while enjoying a delicious dinner, music, and each other’s company.
Each year the women of Suburban Service League pick a charity they work with through the year to highlight at the Crystal Ball. The 2019 Crystal Ball Spotlight Charity is My Joyful Heart. My Joyful Heart is a unique children's charity that provides both life's basic essentials and letters of encouragement to Chicagoland area kids in need. It's not a "one-size-fits-all" organization-the gifts and notes give to children enrolled in the program are personalize. Children receive necessities like clothing, hygiene products, and even food five time throughout the year, not just at Christmas.
