About the Crystal Ball
The Crystal Ball....
Imagine walking into one of the most elegant & beautiful settings you have seen! The Crystal Ball is traditionally held at Olympia Fields Country Club. OFCC is a spectacular club standing on its own. The women of SSL transform this already amazing setting into a wonderland that matches the theme of the Ball. The flowers, decorations, & elegant touches are remarkable and can't be expressed in just words.
The evening begins with mingling and awe at the unique silent auction items that are offered. All drinks, including top shelf, are included in your ticket price. Tasty hors d'oeuvre's are being passed around by OFCC staff. There are always a few surprises with games, raffle prizes, and more. There is a professional photographer set up to take pictures of you and your guest(s) too.
SSL members and guests will then open the doors to the Grand Ballroom to see the big reveal! It is another breathtaking moment! The centerpieces, the lights, the stage.....
A delicious meal will be served as we all learn a little more what SSL is about. Each year we choose a Spotlight Charity. You will get to hear how hard and committed the women of SSL and the chosen charity work to make a difference. It's a fulfilling night for all.
We get to celebrate our success and dance to the chosen DJ, band, or dueling pianos to end our evening. Everyone attending this event makes a difference but also has a great time! Please join us!
Our Crystal Ball is our main fundraiser and all proceeds made go back into the community to help those in need. Did you know that SSL members create and clean up every portion of this weekend to cut costs? That is another way we make sure money isn't spent unnecessarily. We are so proud of the hard work that goes into this weekend. We truly have a lot of fun too!
